Coffee & its appreciation is not only a part of my identity but also how i define my relationship with a city. I genuinely believe that a city without good cafes or coffee would scarcely have a profound impact on me. Thus, my friend Varun and I decided to traipse around the techie town, relishing its diverse coffee offerings. We decided to visit these places and talk about how they made these 30 year old minds feel.
Nerlu Cafe :
As you grow old, the number of things that please you go down. But that happens, only if you stop learning. This coffee made me feel that I learned something new. I learned something new about how I feel about the things
I feel good about. VARUN
Beautiful decor, smart with hanging coffee blend packets. These ZONEs make you feel heard; &… exclusive. Meaning it’s not a first date place. The service could’ve been quicker. The coffee tasted acidic. Not bad acidic though. All acid ain’t bad now!!! wink wink! - Me
Cafe Plume :
Plume is a self portrait. Reminded me that you should take a picture of yourself every day, with or without clothes, so that when you grow old, you can remind yourself what you used to look like, how beautiful you looked like. I think I read this advice from some actress. More importantly, I think we should take a picture every day, because, you know, generally we take pictures on special days, but I think every day is a special day, because it could be your last. Therefore, you should take a picture of this special day, because that’s what we do, take pictures of special days. — Me
Cafe Humblebean :
Maybe I had consumed too much coffee by now, but this coffee and place was a grim reminder of — “Humility is a strange thing, if you think have it, you dont!”— Me
More cafes next week! Ta!
