I just realized, I never published Pranays wedding toast here! So here it is…
“Hello everyone!
My name is Anish, Pranay's roommate in the first 2 years of college. I was the first BIHARI that Pranay fell in love with. And, Unlike with Akanksha, Pranay and I were love at first sight. You see, in our college, we had to pick our own roommates on the first day. So I often joke with Akanksha that — Pranay chatted with me for 3 hours, then he decided to “MOVE IN” ,…. AND WITH HERR, IT TOOK HIM 7 YEARS to do the same.
Now all jokes aside, Akanksha is the perfect one for our BOY. Not only is she beautiful and gentle and kind but also she sees the best in people. She has most definitely shaped Pranay into the guy he is today.
BUT Most importantly she makes him happy in ways I CANT.
I for one knew that she was going to be a part of our lives for SSSURE in 2018. Akanksha had just left for Milan, and Pranay was a bit sad and downcast. So he texted me, “ABEY Yaar Chali Gayi aaj Woh!”.
I realized what he was on about, so I, wanting to console him, responded — “I know bhai, but you know , there’s love to be found in love letters, emails, Video Calls etc”.
Pranay said, “Par Pata nahi DARD Kyun ho raha hai ITNA”!
Needless to say, I am really glad that Akanksha is joining this family. I don’t have a glass in my hand, but there’s always a glass — which I would like to raise to Akanksha and Pranay — and welcome Akanksha to the family !
This is going to be a great celebration. I heard that we have guests all the way from Europe as well. Goes to show how far people are willing to travel for love and …. free food!
